Nationally recognized star of numerous best-selling dance, fitness and yoga DVD’s, Jennifer Galardi is a popular figure among top media, held in high esteem throughout the fitness industry, and adored by fans. Jennifer has been teaching dance and fitness classes in Los Angeles, Orange County, and New York City for over fifteen years at prestigious studios and clubs such as The Edge, Sports Club L.A., CRUNCH, and Equinox. Entering the dance and fitness field was a natural progression after years of ballet and jazz training, cheerleading and competitive tennis. Although naturally athletic, Jennifer’s true passion is, and always has been, dance. In 1998, upon arriving to Los Angeles, Jennifer continued her training with top choreographers and fitness professionals to develop multiple skills from a wide array of disciplines including jazz, hip-hop, Pilates, and yoga, just to name a few. Galardi is considered to be a leading influencer on health and wellness, as a celebrity trainer and spokesperson. In addition to her own best selling titles, she has also worked with and created routines for Carmen Electra, The Pussycat Dolls, Julianne Hough, Kim Kardashian, UFC fighter Matt Hughes, Cheryl Burke, and dancers from “So You Think You Can Dance.” Companies such as Nautilus, BodyBar, SurfSET fitness, Microsoft Kinect, along with publications such as SELF, Fitness, Shape, and Parents magazines, just to name a few, have also used Jennifer to represent their brand and create innovate programming for their products. Despite her success in print and in front of the camera, for much of her life, Jennifer has felt the pressure of being thin and molding to society’s view of “beautiful”. Like many women, she developed mechanisms to control her weight and conform, sampling every diet and exercise trend. Although the constant attention to food and exercise became tedious and prohibitive, she began to find a positive way to channel her interests in dietary theory, experimenting with how food could enhance and complement, not control her life. Ultimately, this led Jennifer to enroll in the prestigious Institute For Integrative Nutrition in New York City, where she graduated with a certificate in holistic health and wellness counseling in July 2009 from the Association of Drugless Practitioners. She continues her advanced yoga studies under the tutelage of Yogarupa Rod Stryker and his ParaYoga system. Along her journey, Jennifer has gained knowledge and insight about the source of food, nutrients, and how to sustain a healthy balance of energy. Armed with this knowledge, a daily practice of meditation, and passion for dance, fitness, and movement, Jennifer has begun to truly love and appreciate her body and what it can do. She has adopted a more gentle approach of self-acceptance and moderation and realized that being healthy is not defined by the number of hours you workout or the amount of calories you eat. But by the richness and fullness of your relationships, your work, your home, your creativity, your friendships, and how you enhance the lives of all who meet you. She continues to educate herself in the fields of fitness, nutrition, Ayurveda, yoga, meditation and holistic healing modalities to help empower others to make positive changes for themselves and fulfill their greatest potential. By bringing together her knowledge and experience across multiple disciplines, she invites everyone to join her in creating habits and routines to live a balanced life in a beautiful, healthy and exuberant body.
