Event Description:

This lecture is intended to provide an overview of Vedic concepts coupled with modern wisdom to address modern problems!

We'll be using the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, the sister science of Yoga, as well as modern wisdom of psychotherapy to navigate diet and lifestyle for a longer, healthier, and happier life.

We send a special invitation to widows / widowers, caregivers, teachers, therapists, parents, nurses, and everyone else who is or has suffered from long-term stress and/or anxiety.

~The science of Ayurveda helps us understand and recognize the daily imbalances caused by life in our society and how to balance our diet & lifestyle to support better digestion, physical, hormonal and emotional health.  It's not your fault - your mind and body have been put into a state of imbalance that can be corrected with the right knowledge!

This series allows us to learn more about Samkhya, Vedanta, SriVidya (the philosophy of Yoga & Spirituality), Tantra (the Science of Yoga) and Ayurveda (the Science of Life) - unlock your amazing potential for self-understanding and self-healing!

About Charles Gaby:
Charles is a yoga instructor and Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience counseling individuals, couples and families. Currently he sees clients in Dallas and Fort Worth.   He is the creator of Roots of Change, a ten week group process for uncovering emotional dynamics that keep us stuck.

About Kirsten Burch:
Kirsten Joy's first career was as an office nurse for Family & Sports Medicine, as well as supporting rural clinics in North Texas.  She went corporate in the 90's and held a leadership position in finance & sales operations for a local software company.  A series of death and illnesses casued her to retire in 2012 to become a fulltime caregiver.

Now a member of The Modern Widow's Club of Dallas, Teacher at SYNC Yoga & Wellbeing, and new owner of Living Yoga Dallas, she continues her studies of Classical Yoga & Meditation in the living tradition with Rod Stryker (ParaYoga), Pandit Rajmani Tigunait (Himalayan Institute) and Arpita Shah (Om Yoga Journey / Ayurveda).  This provides her the opportunity to share the experiences and ancient knowledge of Yoga & Ayurveda with others who may be undergoing stress, or are looking for personal or spiritual evolution.
