Power Play Flow Yoga creates a peaceful, calm and relaxing environment in which people can unwind and just let go from their busy lives. As you enter into the deep, rhythmic breathing exercises coupled with dynamic movements and poses, you will find your mind calmer, your energy renewed and your overall sense of well-being improved.
The heated room (about 90 degrees) is designed to keep the body warm and the muscles more supple to avoid injuries. The sequences of poses are designed to increase flexibility and strength while releasing toxins from the body. The heat also helps detoxify from the inside out.
The classes generally begin with breathing exercises to connect the mind to the present moment. The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow.
