THE EVENTS:
THE MASTER CLASS: Teacher Un-Training
Is your yoga teaching really the teaching of your own understanding of yoga?
Victor and Angela guide teachers to go beyond the popular "methods" of yoga to open the heart, mind, and soul and teach from the wisdom of inner truth.

Meditation and Chanting:
Victor and Angela will take us on a meditative and chanting adventure. Play with chanting as never before and allow the vibration to bring you into a deep meditative state.

The Workshop: Wisdom of the Body
Your body contains the distilled wisdom of the universe. By exploring their own inner energy, students of Angela and Victor learn a more fulfilling and enriching approach to yoga. Angela and Victor will teach you to access this wisdom through your yoga practice. Allow yoga to make this incredible intuition and wisdom available to you and your very own.

Workshops facilitated by Angela and Victor are among the more unusual in the world. Students develop an entirely new perspective to an ancient discipline.

About this Presenter:

Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten began their individual studies of yoga in Europe in the 1960s, continued intensively in India, and brought their teachings together in 1984. Since then they have developed a deep and supportive style of yoga, colored by a richness of imagery drawn from nature and mythology, playful exploration, and creative movement. They inspire yoga students and teachers around the world to turn inward and reconnect with the deep wells of wisdom and creativity that lie within each of us. Their classes are an oasis for those seeking a more internal and meditative approach to yoga. They offer workshops and courses nationally and internationally in Greece, the U.S., Mexico, B.C. and Canada.

Angela and Victor believe the essence of yoga is to connect with a higher plane of spirituality and awareness — to allow your heart, soul, and mind to open completely. Because the practice of yoga is centered on the individual, it should be taught in an individual way. Angela and Victor believe the path to truth and spiritual freedom takes many turns and twists. To expect you to travel this path with a "vehicle" that is rigid and limiting is, in essence, preventing you from reaching your goals.
