The Gong:
The gong is one of the oldest musical instruments in the world and vibrates at the same frequency as the body allowing for healing and creating a deep state of relaxation. The gong meditation can be used to rebalance  the physical and energy bodies and affects the cardiovascular, endocrine, autonomic, and immune systems. It is therapeutic for stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. The gong sounds and vibrations bring the  mind, body, and breath into state of calm and ease.

Professional musician and sound healing expert Kenny Kolter incorporates the use of a 30" Year Platonic Earth Gong, which resonates at the frequency of our own planet Earth, with Tibetan singing bowls and an amazing variety of other instruments to provide an energetic and sonic backdrop for your Restorative Yoga practice and Reiki with Lisa Nicholson.

Close your eyes and rest. Feel the healing sound vibration and nurturing touch of Reiki. Open your heart to serenity in blissful restorative postures for deep relaxation preparing the body, mind, and spirit to receive full benefits of the powerful Gong Meditation during a 45 minute savasana. We have an abundant supply of blankets, bolsters, eye pillows and aromatherapy for your comfort.
