THE WORKSHOP:
BEYOND VINYASA—THE THREE REALMS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Go beyond vinyasa and explore the interconnectedness of the three vital realms of consciousness — the physical-mental, the energetic-emotional, and the psychic-symbolic.

The merging of these three realms through asana, meditation, reflection, and prayer can teach us how to heal and strengthen our bodies, understand our own resistance and attachments, communicate with Spirit, develop our intuitive skills, and move us towards a deeper relationship with Self.

In this weekend workshop the “realm” classes will consist of Sun Salutations A and B, standing asana, back and forward bending poses, hip openers and inversions. These classes intend to be challenging, creative and informative.
In the physical realm, we will learn the principles and benefits of a pose and how asana can strengthen, tone and stimulate all the various systems of the body to create a holistic approach towards healing and wellness.

In the energetic-emotional realm we will explore the language of the Chakras and learn how negative patterning and blocks in our energy body can effect physical and emotional health and keep us attached to old behaviors and impulses.

In the grounding down class we will wind down the day exploring the health benefits of inversions, partner assisted back bends and forward bends, deep hip openers, visualization exercises, meditation and relaxation. This class will be informative, playful, reflective and balancing and open to all levels of experience.

In the psychic-symbolic realm we will explore the connection between the body and mind and how opening our hearts to Spirit can transform all challenges into opportunities for Grace.

This workshop is designed to teach us how to transform our daily practice into a divine ritual that celebrates life and our connection to God. It will be a personnel journey merging the body, mind and soul to recognize that our one true purpose in this embodiment is to learn about love and to embrace, with compassion and wisdom, all that life may bring us.
