Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology is a scientific art based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet/hands/ears which correspond to all the systems of the body. The physical act of applying specific pressures using thumb, finger and hand techniques result in stress and tension reduction which causes a physiological change in the body.

Certifications:

Liz has been practicing Reflexology since 1974. She was trained by Adano C. Ley and Dr. Margaret Berry, D.O., founders of Life Stress Research, Inc., Tyler, TX.

In 2010, Liz furthered her education by studying under the instruction of Bill Flocco, founder and director of The American Academy of Reflexology, Burbank, CA.

She is a member of the Texas Reflexology Association and the Reflexology Association of America.

Yoga has been part of my life since my yoga first class in 1969 (I was practically a baby!) During my twenties, yoga postures, breath and relaxation techniques supported my body before and after long bicycle rides and runs, including training and running my first, and only marathon. During my two pregnancies, yoga helped me stay balanced and fit. After the loss of my father from a sudden heart attack, yoga helped me to reduce stress, anxiety and depression.

I started my career in the health/wellness field as a personal trainer for over 10 years while obtaining my Bachelor's degree of Science emphasizing Kinesiology from TWU. I was drawn to the therapeutic aspects of personal training and started working in Rehabilitation. In 2007, I started doing yoga after a back injury and was introduced to yoga therapy and thus the passion for yoga began. I tried many styles of yoga and enjoyed them but I still felt like they were missing something until I tried Svaroopa® yoga in 2012.
